Narrative

On 21 November 1955 at 2155 hours over Brooklyn, New York, two civilian observers reported a round object with a dome on top giving off a bright whitish glow with a long jet-like trail. Informant 1 described it climbing very fast and traveling at tremendous speed before spinning and disappearing straight up; Informant 2 saw only a streak of light. A whining or roaring sound was reported. Assessed as possibly a meteor due to contradictions between accounts.
