Narrative
At approximately 10:15 Pacific Standard Time on 2 May 1949, Marvin LeRoy Small observed three unidentified circular objects flying in inverted vee formation in a south-westerly direction 5 miles north of Elko, Nevada. Estimated altitude 14,000 feet, speed 250-300 mph. Objects appeared metal with oxidized aluminum appearance, no exhaust or vapor trail, no sound. Objects in sight for two minutes, started a left turn, each object tilted at an angle appearing flat and thin, then disappeared. OSI investigation found witness truthful and dependable.
