18D 24-591 — 1960-06-27 — San Diego, California (4306 52nd Street)
Narrative
At approximately 2330 hours on 26 June 1960, Truman Dale Draeger observed a small bright moving light from a southeasterly direction over San Diego. The light was approximately 60 to 70 degrees above the horizon, with no discernible features. He observed it on three different occasions for approximately five minutes each on 27 June 1960. The object appeared to ascend, circle, descend and climb at various times, disappearing gradually to the northwest after each appearance. Observed without optics on two occasions, and with a 50-power telescope on the third. Wife Carolyn also observed.
