Narrative
At 0143Z on 14 November 1956, a 53-year-old store supervisor in Nekoosa, Wisconsin observed a long object the apparent size of a telephone pole at two blocks distance, with a single bright white light and a tail the same length as the object itself. A bright flash of light called his attention. Object traveled in a straight line descending to the horizon at 338 degrees azimuth and faded out after about one minute. 1st Lt USAF Senior Director assessed as possible star or meteorite.
