Narrative
On 15 March 1956 at 0251Z (2000 12-13 March CST), a round white light was observed over Chicago, IL for one half hour. Object moved straight up, then back and forth, then faded from sight. Weather: widely scattered clouds, clear, 15 miles visibility. Observers were a civilian housewife and S/Sgt Lawrence C Fuller. The report was telephonically checked. Senior director (1/Lt Chester J Preisser) had no comment.
