Narrative
On 20 February 1956 at 1950Z (day), a long silver wingless blimp-like object was observed northeast to southeast of Miami, Florida. Object appeared shining, very high, on a straight course, fading into the horizon after 30 seconds. Observed via ground visual with binoculars. Reported by 660th ACWRON, MacDill AFB FL. Conclusion: possibly aircraft. Note: no radar contact was made, but radar site was 260 miles from the sighting area.
