Narrative
On 20 January 1949 between approximately 1800 and 1900 hours (estimated 1835), M/Sgt Ellis C. Stone observed an unidentified aerial phenomenon while northeast of San Antonio, Texas. The object was traveling from ESE to WSW between 325 and 295 degrees azimuth in approximately 5 seconds. Elevation dropped from 15 degrees to 12 degrees as it disappeared behind a hill. The object appeared spherical, luminous bluish-green with a yellow tinge, gliding from the observer's right to left. Trail varied 3 to 6-7 times object diameter, light pink with bright red sparks. Other potential witnesses identified including Mr. Charles Finck.
