Narrative

At 0500Z on 1 August 1955 in San Diego, California, a 17-year-old student observed flashes in the sky 25 degrees to the northeast: one larger object with two smaller objects rotating around it. The objects appeared pin-sized, blue changing to yellow, and the observer reported the object stood quite still (high altitude) for approximately 20 minutes through binoculars under clear skies with high clouds. AISOP concluded possibly astronomical: star seen through binoculars.
