Narrative
At 1047Z on or around 20 April 1956, a 13-year-old student in Long Island City, NY observed two cigar-shaped objects resembling small clouds with white fuzzy edges. Objects appeared to come out of a cloud with the sun behind the observer. Heard a faint noise that faded during the sighting. Objects moved in opposite directions, then faded. Duration one minute. Observed visually and with low-power binoculars. The 1st Lt. duty intelligence officer described the sounds as similar to a blimp.
