Narrative
A Mohawk Airlines DC-3 flight from Worcester to Boston (heading 275 deg, 8000 ft, 220 mph) reported two green-ball-of-fire objects. The first was sighted at 1825 EST southwest of Worcester heading west to east at azimuth 60 degrees, of enormous size, appearing to head toward the earth. A second similar object was sighted at 1849 west of Westover AFB heading northeast to southwest at azimuth 60 degrees, also enormous and heading toward the earth. Each lasted 3 to 5 seconds. Unconfirmed reports of similar objects were received over Atlantic City, NJ and McGuire AFB.
