Narrative

At 2225Z on 21 November 1955, an observer at Washingtonville, New York reported an edge-shaped greenish object at high elevation at twilight. Sky clear with surface winds 22K gusts. Three known B-47 jet aircraft were in the area at the time. 4602d AISS HQ concluded the sighting was probably generated by aircraft, noting that the time was far after sunset and must have been night.
