Narrative

On 29 October 1955 at 1550 PST, a civilian observer in Fairfield, California reported a box-kite-shaped object (possibly two objects in trail) crossing the sky at roughly 5,000 feet. First sighted at azimuth 225 degrees, elevation 20 degrees, the object passed overhead and disappeared at azimuth 045 degrees, elevation 10 degrees, on what appeared to be a straight and level flight path. It was later observed by a second witness before going out of sight. The 5th Wing Intelligence officer noted no material evidence and forwarded the report to ATIC as unknown.
