On 17 November 1956 at 0858Z (night), Mr. and Mrs. (Cincinnati exchange) at Marimont east of Cincinnati, Ohio observed a single tear-drop shaped apple green object with a red tail. The object was bright in color, at 25 degrees above horizon, descending vertically to horizon over 3 seconds. Sky was clear with 14-plus miles visibility. A photo was reportedly taken by an unidentified person (license OHIO72SAE).
