Narrative
On 4 September 1956 at 0248Z (first sighting) and again at 0330Z, a 24-year-old female Syracuse college student plus six other parties observed a circular sphere with red inside and green outside near Henderson Harbor, New York. Members of 655th ACWRON Able crew at Watertown also observed using binoculars. Object moved approximately due east in straight line, elevation 310 degrees, faded after 45 minutes. F-94 scrambled (Jumping Jack Alpha One) - visual sighting with object appearing above and to NW, considered most likely a star, though the 45-minute duration with rapid motion was not characteristic of a star.
