Narrative

On 30 November 1954 at approximately 1245 PM (1845Z), a housewife in Monroeville, Alabama observed a circular silver object passing at a high rate of speed over Monroeville. The object was headed north and appeared to have a stream of fire shooting from the rear. Four witnesses were standing in a field discussing gardening when she expressed surprise. Day was clear with scattered clouds and good visibility.
