Narrative

On 28 September 1953 at 1500 hours near Harrisville, Michigan, a lumber operator helping with a bean harvest observed a disc-shaped object in the sky. The object initially headed 180 degrees, then turned to 135 degrees, then to 090 degrees before disappearing. The witness described the disc banking sharply, throwing reflected sunlight as it moved. F-86 gunnery and transition flights were in the immediate area at the time. Conclusion was unknown.
