Narrative
On 15 September 1955 at 0155Z, GOC observer Ralph F. Meeks on duty near Vincennes, Indiana sighted a round white-to-red object resembling a large electric light bulb with white-red sparks. The object was 5 to 10 nautical miles north-northeast at very high altitude and moved straight down for 10-15 seconds. Ground-visual only. Weather calm and foggy.
