Narrative
On 2 May 1956 at 0100Z, an observer in Baltimore, Maryland used a small telescope from a ladder in their back yard to view an orange star-like object surrounded by a circle. It moved straight to the horizon from ENE 65 degrees down to ENE 0 degrees, descending below the horizon over 1 hour 30 minutes. The 4602D AISS concluded possibly balloon based on duration and course matching winds aloft.
