Narrative

On 9 November 1955 at 0324Z (early November 1955), an oblong large white object with intense brightness and a long path streak was reported at multiple scattered points in southern Idaho. Observers included Idaho Falls State Police. Object moved straight downward in 2-second ground-visual sighting. Due to wide scattered points from which object viewed, AISOP concluded sighting was generated by a meteor; trail and color substantiated this.
