Narrative

Major L. H. Hall (Commander HQ Sq Sec 27th ADiv, 26 years active duty) and 1st Lt R. (last name redacted, Adjutant, rated jet pilot, 1,930 hours flying time, 6 years active duty) observed three objects in V-formation at Norton AFB at 21:05Z on 24 May 1955. Both observers considered very reliable. Object was at 60 degrees elevation, 80 degrees azimuth, descended from 80 degrees azimuth, banked east on heading of 90 degrees, observed for 22 seconds (or 1 minute per some text). Two flights of jet aircraft were in the area. Preparing officers Major J. M. Ahlstrom (Director of Intel, 27th ADiv) and Major John Powers (Div Intel Off) believed it possibly a shadow.
