Narrative
At 0153Z on 4 April 1956 near Cedar Key, Florida, a commercial fisherman observed a single bright object the size of a dime at arm's length, during a routine GOC observation. Object was flying south at 0 degrees azimuth from observation position, appeared over the horizon, and remained in sight for two minutes. Ground-visual observation; weather clear, unlimited visibility. Duty Director of 792 AC&WRON noted: 'Possible identity of sighting unknown.' AISOP concluded possibly aircraft (jet afterburner or reflection) due to heavy air traffic in the area.
