Narrative
On 4 June 1955 at approximately 1950 PDT (0250Z 5 June), observers in a T-33 aircraft and on the ground at Parker, Arizona sighted a single pale yellow star-like object with pale blue/green tinge, moving westward in straight flight. Sighting was made with binoculars from the aircraft at 28,000 ft on a 388-degree heading at 350 knots. Object disappeared suddenly at an elevation of about 45 degrees. An astronomer at San Bernardino Valley College, consulted on 7 June, strongly suggested the sighting was caused by the planet Jupiter.
