Narrative
At 04/0530Z September 1955 a civilian observer at Bellingham, Washington sighted a round white light the size of a pinhead held at arm's length in a westerly direction. The object moved erratically both laterally and horizontally, traversing approximately 30 degrees across the Big Dipper. The witness reported the light's intensity correlated with its motion - brightening when moving, dimming when stationary. Observation lasted 15 minutes under clear and unlimited weather conditions. Investigation by Flight 1-A of 4602d AISS was conducted.
