At 2230 hours on 14 August 1956, three civilian observers at 332 La Rosa Street in San Antonio, Texas observed four round white objects moving over Kelly AFB. The objects formed a square, then the object in the upper left moved down to align with the bottom two objects at a 5-degree angle, returned to position, then the upper right object moved across forming an 'L'. These maneuvers were repeated twice. The objects then moved in straight, level, evenly spaced flight east-northeast until they disappeared. Sighting started with elevation 5 degrees azimuth 340 degrees, ended at elevation 30 degrees azimuth 70 degrees. Duration approximately 15 minutes.
