Narrative
On 7 May 1956 at 0412Z a civilian (Civilian Defense / GOC reliability unknown) northeast of Madison, Wisconsin (near Waupun) reported a single round, baseball-sized object. The object was low and moving from south to north and southeast, disappearing after 15 minutes of ground-visual observation. Reported via the 755th AC&W Squadron Williams Bay Wisconsin. Concluded possibly a self-illuminated weather balloon.
