AISS-UFOB-121-55 / 670TAC C-808 — 1955-04-11 — Hollywood, California (EJBE 4006)
Narrative
On 11 April 1955 at 0459Z, a 17-year-old male civilian student in Hollywood, California reported observing six round silver objects in a V formation while looking straight up. The objects appeared at 90 degrees elevation and azimuth 290, descended to 30 degrees elevation at azimuth 290, heading northwest, and vanished after five seconds of observation. The night was clear with 15 miles visibility. The 670th ACWRON at San Pedro, California filed the report to ADC and the 27th Air Division. Capt. Clifford E. Brandt, USAF, deemed positive determination impossible. The 4602D AISS concluded the case was possibly astronomical.
