2D-UFOB-1 — 1954-10-15 — Enid, Oklahoma (at 902 W. Iowa)
Narrative
On 15 October 1954 at 16/0337Z, at 902 W. Iowa Street, Enid, Oklahoma, a USAF Lt. Colonel and friendly engineer officer sighted a grayish-white object moving at approximately 200 MPH on a course of about 210 degrees, line of sight approximately 45 degrees. The witness, very familiar with aircraft identification, immediately checked Vance AFB which confirmed no aircraft in the area at that time. Due to the short observation period (3 seconds) and lack of corroborating evidence, the sighting remained unidentified. Investigation by Flight 2-D of 4602d AISS conducted 2 December 1954.
