Narrative
On 26 July 1960 at 0910 hours, 14-year-old Richard Poniatowski of Detroit observed a round bright white object at approximately 45 degrees elevation toward the eastern horizon. He watched it for about ten minutes before going to fetch his telescope; when he returned five minutes later the object was gone. The object was traveling southwest, northeast of the North Star, with no trail, exhaust, or sound.
