Narrative

Beginning at 0200Z on 9 February 1956 near Lutz, Florida, an electrical contractor observed six red, oval flare-like objects at intervals (0200Z, 0210Z, 0224Z), each about the size of a half-dollar at arm's length. Objects appeared stationary briefly before fading. Concluded as photo-flash flares from MacDill Tower (MCF), reported as low as 1,000 feet at Avon Park.
