Narrative

On 11 September 1955 starting at 2240Z, Robert Pierson, a 39-year-old farmer at the GOC Nan Mike 1-5 Black post at Le Grand, Iowa, sighted objects in three different sky quadrants. He kept them in view for 2 hours 15 minutes. Pierson phoned Arthur Kersey, age 42, at the Marshalltown GOC post; Kersey sighted one of the objects and watched it for 1 hour 15 minutes. Both observations ground-visual aided by binoculars.
