Narrative
On 22 March 1956 at 0338Z (21 Mar 1958 PST), two round red-and-white objects were observed for approximately 10 minutes between Ventura and Santa Barbara, California. One object moved very slowly while the other moved very fast. The observer was a 17-year-old student at the Ventura School for Girls. UAF tower operator A/1C James J Duvall also sighted same objects at about 0405Z and watched them for 50 minutes. Headquarters opinion was the sighting was possibly generated by the planet Venus.
