Narrative

On 15 June 1956 starting at 2052Z over Baltimore, Maryland, an ex-aerial photographer and approximately 200 other observers watched a cigar-shaped white object with red and blue tail sparks for two hours and six minutes. The object operated at 45 degrees elevation, executed an unknown large orbit, traveled at very high speed. One F-86D from Andrews AFB was scrambled at 0346Z but sighted only airliners and flashing searchlights.
