Narrative

At approximately 2400 hours local 22 May 1955, two airmen parked on US-85 south of Cheyenne WY observed four unidentified objects: two slender rectangular white objects approximately 10 feet above the horizon, then two oval objects with protruding tops at considerable altitude that intermittently illuminated bluish-purple. Objects 1 and 2 ascended slightly and disappeared. Objects 3 and 4 began southward ascending movement and went out of sight in approximately 10 seconds. Investigated by OSI; report forwarded as unresolved.
