Narrative

At 0359Z on 17 August 1956, Bessie Cramer, a Ground Observer Corps supervisor, observed a round blinking object the size of a half dollar held at arm's length. It remained stationary then faded out after 13 minutes. Observed visually from ground. Bright moon was present.
