Narrative

At 1900Z on 29 September 1955 near Creston, Iowa, a housewife observed a flat balloon-like half-dollar-sized object that appeared orange on appearance and disappearance and lighter colored on one side. The object oriented broadside, orbited twice, and moved south west of sun for three minutes under clear skies. AISOP concluded possible balloon.
