Narrative

At 0315Z on 26 May 1956 a round white object the apparent size of a small jet was observed from Steilacoom, Washington. The object was estimated at 10,000 feet, stationary, still visible at the time of reporting via visual and binoculars, with a sighting duration of 46 minutes. Description and position fit Venus and the AISOP conclusion was Probably Astronomical: Venus.
