Narrative

On 24 July 1955 at 2000-2002Z (dusk), S/Sgt W.M. McClanahan AF SN 17259624 of Akron-Canton GOC observed a small light-silver round object at altitude approximately 15,000 ft for 6 minutes. Aircraft was in the area at same time (G852AG at 5,000 ft moving west to east at 2317Z). Object appeared as a 'star' south-southwest of the GOC observation post. Sighting attributed to sun glinting off aircraft.
