Narrative

Between 0245Z and 0253Z 9 September 1955, civilian sitting on a friend's porch in Mattapan MA noticed two oval objects moving in a straight line. Initially thought they were jet fighters but heard no sound. Objects traveled south to southeast at estimated 300-400 mph, observed for approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds. First object appeared, then a second one matching speed and altitude. Clear sky, full moon. Conclusion: possibly aircraft based on duration and description.
