Narrative

Mr. M.F. Fechenback and Mr. Wyle V. Moore, both air traffic controllers at Love Field, Dallas, observed an unusual delta-winged object from the ground at 0105, 0108, 0125 and 0200 hours on 6 January 1952. The object covered a 90 degree arc in three minutes about 50 miles north of Dallas at 2000-2500 feet altitude. In one instance it hovered, made a slight curve, then went practically straight up and disappeared by blending in with the stars. Oklahoma City Municipal Airport radar confirmed contact with the object at over 600 mph.
