Narrative
On approximately 7-8 February 1955 (delayed report), a civilian pilot in the vicinity of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania reported a bright object that flashed away southward in a second. The pilot's identity, departure, and destination were unknown. Olmsted Flight Service Center reported the sighting via Middletown AMA but could not evaluate further; assistant operations officer suggested possibly a shooting star.
