Narrative

After DIA cancelled AAWSAP/AATIP in 2012, its supporters proposed KONA BLUE to DHS as a Prospective Special Access Program (PSAP) to restart UAP investigations, paranormal research, and reverse-engineer any 'off-world spacecraft' they hoped to acquire (including 'non-human biologics' per interviewees). Senators Lieberman and Reid allegedly supported establishing the PSAP. DHS rejected it for lacking merit; no material was ever transferred. AARO interviewees mistakenly described it as an active hidden program.
